Back-to-School
Our Goal: To have all students and staff back in class, in person, in the fall (August or September). Medical and educational experts say this is vital to the development of children: mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially. We, at VCHS, are super-cautious, however, and go above and beyond to protect the health and well-being of our school family.
OPTION 1: FACE
To have students and teachers face-to-face in the classroom (socially-distanced, with masks and/or face shields, hand sanitation…) when it is deemed safe to do so by health, science, and medical professionals (See Protocol for Return to School)
OPTION 2: FLEX
To have an option for students to learn from home
OPTION 3: FUSE
To be prepared to move seamlessly between FACE and FLEX should we be required to close/re-open for a period of time, due to the changing status of the pandemic.
To prepare for FLEX and/or FUSE, we will utilize technology to connect learning “at-home” with “in-class” for “same-time” instruction. Students must be in attendance for each class on time, or will be counted Tardy or Absent.

- for those who may need to quarantine/self-isolate due to possible exposure to COVID-19
- for anyone who exhibits any symptoms of illness
